How appropriate that your favorite comic about tasty strippers and the grisly zombies that hunger for their flesh should itself rise from the grave after a short dirt nap! Over at my blog I’ve been talking about Tasty Flesh pinups (and slipping pinup teasers), and we’re finally ready to get started! I’d like to send a warm (still-twitching) ‘Thank You’ to the ever-awesome Violet Blue, who wrote a really delicious review of Tasty Flesh! For those of you who don’t know her, she’s a fantastic sex-positive professional writer and blogger with the best possible sexy-geeky overtones. Megan is her biggest fan (and now it says so on the internets, so it’s true), so I know her work well.
The other night Megan sent Violet a copy of October’s Stacy pinup, ’cause she thought she would get a real kick out of it — and I guess she did! She was kind enough to put a post about Tasty Flesh up on her site, with lots of links. It’s a really great feeling to know that someone whose work you appreciate likes yours too! In this case, she compared it to Evil Dead 2, which in my estimation is the highest of accolades one can receive.

Ah, November. When we think of the current month, often what comes to mind are Turkeys, Pilgrims, Halloween Hangovers, changing leaves…. and hot chicks armed to the teeth. What, that’s not the first thing you think of? Well, let’s see if we can change that!
This month’s Tasty Flesh Pinup is Robin, our very own Pepper-Spray Princess! It’s come to my attention lately that some of the terminology I’ve been using in Tasty Flesh isn’t part of some readers’ vocabularies. In an effort to both entertain and educate my readers, I’m offering the first installment of Tasty Flesh’s Word of the Day!
Today’s word is: “Viking Funeral” orig.- Vikings, duh. n. – 1. One of various types of services in remembrance to the dead in which the body and belongings of the deceased are consumed by flames. 2. Burning down an entire building full of zombies that just ate one of your best friends.
ex- You zombies may have eaten Jimmy, but I’m gonna throw him a viking funeral and take care of all of you!

Back in October, I found out that professional writer, internet celebrity, and all-around-cool-person Violet Blue was enjoying Tasty Flesh. A little birdie also told me that she had unfortunately missed out on a chance to be photographed for a zombie pinup calendar! …so I thought to myself, “Why not make Violet my December zombie pinup?” A month later, here we are with a sexy undead pinup portrait of the lovely Miss Blue! Hope you all enjoy it as much as I do. Looks like someone’s been taking some tiny nibbles out of her! If you’re here at Tasty Flesh, reading the comics week after week, it shows me you have a certain… gastrointestinal fortitude. What the laymen would call “the stomach for it.” Seeing as you’ve shown so much digestive promise, I’d like to point you in the direction of the Martin Whitmore Meat Market! The holiday hiatus is over, and we’re back into the swing of things in the New Year! Since the comic started rather abruptly, with the girls emerging from their sealed strip club only to discover the walking dead roaming their city’s streets, I thought I would take the start of the new year as an opportunity to show you how things began. So, enjoy the backstory, and January’s pinup will be posted in the next day or two! Candi’s just dying for you to see it!
My friend Becky Blanton and I collaborated over the past weekend to promote her entry (”Stay Hungry!”) in the Johnny Bunko: Lesson Seven contest over at JohnnyBunko.com. The idea was to enter the best advice you could give someone to succeed in their career. Out of hundreds of entries, Becky’s was chosen to be one of three finalists!
